The last five minutes of latest Sam Harris podcast was solid gold, Jonah Goldberg explaining why Americans should be proud of their country. Rather than everybody claiming to be a victim, acting like somebody owes them something, how about we all appreciate that, in the history of the world, to be an American in the 21st century is a pretty good ticket to pull. I think there’s some common-ground patriotism in here that most can agree on. Give it a listen.
