Who once took an oath to defend the constitution
Now strut about in cammies
Defenders of freedom, so they say
Unless they lose the vote
When their guy doesn’t win election
Their knife is at our throat
Oath Keepers hitched on to Donald Trump
Supported Don’s BIG LIE
They led the Jan 6th Capital charge
In battle gear, stack-formation single file
They had weapons and quick teams on alert
Ready to escalate
Lock-and-load was on demand
Packing heat for hate
The feds rounded up a bunch of Oath Keepers
After the failed Jan 6 coup
But Oath Keepers leader, Stewart Rhodes
Stayed free for one more year
But the tide has turned against these fools
Rhodes awaits trial in July, no longer free
He and 10 other Oath Keepers now charged
With “seditious conspiracy”
Now Oath Keepers flippin’ like a burger grill
Making deals and tellin’ tales
While fearless leader and wife-beater Stewart Rhodes
Cools his heels in jail
Three Oath Keepers are cooperating
Admitted conspiracy to violently overthrow a lawful election
I guess looking at 40 years in jail
Is cause for some reflection
Maybe some of these Oath Keepers are decent folks
Who thought they were on a good team
But seditious conspiracy isn’t patriotic
You spit on vets like me
So, my popcorn’s ready for Rhode’s trial in July
His guilt will be my glee
But first I look forward to the House Jan 6 Committee’s televised hearings in June
