Welcome to the Whine-Fest

Whoa is not me

Please don’t feel my pain

I’ll try not to whine to you

How about you doing the same

Everybody lives this life

The healthy and the lame

Some people born with lousy hand

But still must play the game

My biggest props for disabled kids

Who fight with heads held high

Not social justice warriors

Offended by a fly

Hey, look at how my ancestors were treated

How can I possibly succeed?

Well, it starts with getting off your ass

Go to school, learn to write and read

Then get a job and work it hard

And save a little bit

Have some fun, find some love

The key is never quit

Especially in America

We have no right to grieve

When even those on welfare

Have big flat-screen TVs

Yeah, lots of complainers walking about

Looking for easy credit

So offended when somebody points out

You’ve got to work to get it

No, life ain’t fair, like Daddy said

And so far he ain’t lyin’

I’ve had my share of ups and downs

But still my kite keeps flyin’

Keep pluggin’ kids, celebrate small victories

Even if defeat is soon upon us

It’s the journey, not destination………right

And we all ain’t born Adonis

Tee shirts never lie
