This season sits on twisted times
And good cheer gone awry
The world’s aflame with climate change
And despots on the rise
COVID kills the elderly
And then some, still not sure
Stop the world and stay at home

Our politics just make me sick
No beacon for the world
Our president spits non-stop lies
